About Us

BusyDog Training is owned by Allison and Michael Bryant. We have been training our dogs since 1995. Starting with a pet obedience class, we were soon hooked on agility. Then our interests moved to stockdog training. Soon we were living on a 60 acre farm!

Currently, we compete in agility, obedience and stock trials with 6 of our dogs. We are the only handlers to have three dogs place in the top 10 Most Versatile competition at the Australian Shepherd Club of America’s National Trial. We have placed in the top ten for 8 consecutive years (2000-2007).

Michael and Roper were The Champion Sheep Dog at the 2004 ASCA National Trial in Paso Robles, CA. They beat over 100 dogs to earn this award! Michael is very successful in the stock arena with his dogs, winning many High in Trial awards with Roper and Hank.

Allison has earned five Agility Trial Champion titles on her dogs. Michael has earned three Working Trial Champion titles on three dogs. Roper, Hank and Pony are three of only a handful of Aussies that have earned both the WTCH and the ATCH titles.

In addition to showing and training, Michael is an Apprentice Stockdog Judge for the Australian Shepherd Club of America (ASCA). Allison is an approved agility judge for the United States Dog Agility Association and for ASCA.

We have experience training a wide variety of dogs. We have fostered and placed over 40 rescue dogs since 1996 and we have learned a lot from our experiences with them. We use only positive training methods (cookies and toys.) We tailor our training to the strengths and weaknesses of each dog. Our goal is to make training fun for both the dog and handler!
